Hello Bob, thanks for forwarding and commenting on our project. The gas-holding barrel is filled with water in such a way water would not overflow when the bowel is fully blown up with gas. The idea behind using water is to allow for leakage control, to increase safety in case the chamber would get in contact with fire and increase the pressure on the chamber. It is purely experimental however, hopefully it will reveal itself to be a good idea.
