wood stove TEG

Postby carolag » Sun Nov 09, 2008 5:46 pm

I am toying with the idea of installing a TEG built from thermopiles on top of my wood stove and generating a little additional power in winter. I live off-grid with a solar system and generator back up. December and January are not the greatest for solar power. I read an article in the Northern Light about your new wood stove idea and was wondering if you could recommend some thermopiles.

Hi Carola,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been traveling, just returned.

Check out http://www.hi-z.com/ for TEG modules.
