I have a place in Valdez Alaska and want to figure a way to convert waste from the fishing industry into methane so that I can reduce my use of oil for heating. I think this has got to be possible. I am also intrested in making life more fun for all the people that live in my apartment units and the people who are in my foster care business.

It seems to me that we can use all of this waste we haver up here to create a great life for ourselves. I dont have much skill at building but very much want to learn how to tie all of this together to reduce the economic strain that we all must bare in order to exist in this world. Willing to work for it.

I have not heard much about using fish waste to produce methane. Is it possible?

Oh. You just missed an energy conference last week in Talkeetna that had some stuff to say about just that. Here's a link. http://www.uaf.edu/aetdl/conferences.html

I see that they don't have the proceedings posted yet, but if you contact them, they should be able to connect you with people who are working on that.
