oil drum batch digesters in Texas

this is a site that is still around but seems to have deleted some of the pages that it once had.
http://web.archive.org/web/200208120354 ... /index.htm

i actually bought his material, and it was worth the price imho.

he has been connecting about 20, 55 gal oil drums painted black to a compressor isolated in another oil drum filled with methane (i think i might have used nitrogen myself) to compress the gas into a large old 250 gal commercial size propane tank (he tells a little story of how he acquired it for free) and then runs it into his house to run a number of appliances.

apparently the temps down in Texas are warm enough to get all the gas he wants just by leaving the barrels lying about on his lawn.

if you click on the "what's new" button, it will take you to a page where he has pictures of his experiment running his small yard tractor /mower on his homemade gas.
